Welcome to the website of NCC, Maynaguri College. Nesting in the midst of the open green field in the western fringe of Jalpaiguri district, Maynaguri College has taken an important role in the educational scenario of North Bengal. This seat of education lies 4 km North of Maynaguri town enroute to Malbazar. The College was established on 18th November 1999. It is a degree college affiliated to the North Bengal University. My Compliments to the entire Cadets of NCC unit at Mayanaguri College for performing exceedingly well on all NCC activities under the guidance of ANO Lt Lalit Kumar Mandal. The NCC cadets have actively taken part in National and District level Camps. The Cadets have undertaken several Social Service and Community Development programmes to educate the local population of Villages around Mayanaguri on Social Issues such as 'Drug Abuse', 'Child Trafficking', Swachatta Mai Jan Bhagyadari, aimed at bringing about a positive change in the society. The cadets have taken part in Blood Donation Programmes. My Best Wishes to the College, its Students and Teaching Staff under the Dynamic Guidance of their Principal Dr. Debkumar Mukerjee in their endeavor to emerge as a Premier Educational Institution of Academic Excellence in Mayanaguri, Jalpaiguri District, West Bengal.

Associate NCC Officer

I Mr Lalit Kumar Mandal, started my NCC ANO carrier since 2020. But since 2017, I had taken charge of NCC unit as a CTO. In 2020 I got the post of ANO after completing my 3 month PRCN training course from OTA Nagpur, Maharashtra. In 2023 I have promoted my NCC carrter from ANO to Captain by completing another 1 month Refresher course. Due to our affiance our 61 Bengal Battalion had conducted several ‘B’ or ‘C’ Certificate examination and so many camp within our College Campus. Since 2020 till now I have given my everything for upliftment of NCC unit. During this said tenure, NCC unit of Maynaguri College had done several programme’s like Republic Day, Independence Day, Blood Donation Programme, International Yoga Day, cleaning College Campus, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Puneet Sagar etc. Not only those above mentioned work, several cadet’s of our unit got government job at WPB,BSF and even as a Civic Volunteers and field also. Main features of our unit are that they always maintain its motto and that is discipline within and outside our College Campuse. As an ANO I wish this unit a very good luck for future.
